Fragile Happiness

It was his mother's death that caused it, ever since they found her remains scattered about the human black market, the Ilumaran had been begging for blood.

He intended to give it to them.

He was shocked as tiny delicate hands reached back and grabbed his, as he felt her lean back into him.

I found this sketch in the piles of paper I was cleaning up, and decided that it would be a great piece to take a break from animating with.

I remember sketching it with the thought that there are so many sad images of them, but none when they were happy, so I drew them happy, which then kinda turned out sad as it is.
