This weekend was a LOT of fun!
I went to Naru 2U a small convention in Ottawa with

to help her sell her prints and sell a couple of mine.
She was really worried she wouldn’t break even but we seemed to have done fine!

So here are some 8 things about me

1: I post about 5-10% of what I draw, the rest remains in jarbled sketches that prolly won’t ever see the light of day, oddly enough most of what I draw are humans and humanoids, but they are very unlikely to be scanned and posted because I know that my humans are generally unliked.

2: I really disliked being classified as a dragon artist! I take great pride in being able to draw what ever I feel like, whether it be humans, backgrounds, scenery, armor, weapons, or mecha.
I may not be the best of the best at these subjects, but when asked to draw them I can say I can.
Which I believe is a good motto for all artist. Strive to draw things out of your comfort zone. It makes you much more flexible.

3: I find it extremely odd that people find me scary, yes I may be tall on the freakish side, but that is no reason to be afraid of me. (specially when you haven’t seen me)

4: Like pretty much every artist on DA, I do not like things I draw to be compared to things from your fandom. I do try very hard to have an semblance of originality to what I draw and I can’t help it if there is the smallest of similarity only noticeable by you between my art and something I have never heard of before.
It is sad when I get this on almost everything I draw.

5: Contrary to popular belief I do NOT own the word avian, it means birds. I do NOT get $1000 every time a bird is hatched (however nice it would be). I DO own the conjunction of the word Avian when paired with the type of feathered dragons with square heads that I draw “soooo” often.

6: I really dislike chat-speak/short-speak/short-chat/whatever you want to try to call it to try to cover up your incompetence.
It drives me nuts that people do not have the respect to type two more letters when typing “you” and all of the chat-speak is like that. So if you do want to say something to me, please say it in respectable English,

7: I am a HUGE sugar fiend, I love the stuff period.

8: I can’t think of an 8 right now, I’ll add it later if I think of it. ^^
