Clubs, Ads, and Such
I notice that Clubs are a wonderful thing that have gained recent popularity and everyone has one. But this poses a small problem.
As a lot of 'popular' artists likely have been experiencing, I have been getting a lot of club invites.
I mean no disrespect to the clubs when I decline them, but I totally don't have the time to be active or participate in as many clubs as I get invites, and I feel it would be not very useful to a club if I join and do nothing.
So I do want to ask for you guys not to invite me, or at least don't feel insulted when I don't join your groups.
Though I will still accept my deviations being invited into groups. ^_^

I should also bring up something else that has been happening a lot lately.
I have been getting a lot of notes and comments saying things like:
-Come draw for our comic, it will be great exposure for you, it involves dogs and magic
-I am starting up a company, work for us. We'll pay you if we (ever) make money...(Maybe)
-I am doing commissions, you should commission me, and tell all your friends!
-I need you to do 2 full-colour commissions a week, give me the PSD, and I'll pay you $20 each
-etc...
(these are base examples, but similar enough to give the point. Some I wonder if they even look at my gallery... some I have gotten the same note like 3 times)Please don't do this, its painful to see how much people expect me to do for as little as they offer. All it succeeds in doing is making me depressed in knowing that you think I am gullible.
I take commissions as I need the money ATM, for I am a full-time college student, and most of my time is spent attending classes, and writing essays (ewwwww)
Even if I knew I wasn't gonna get scammed, I simply don't have the time to be committed to a company during school time. Sorry T_T
PS: On my secret account I have noticed the ads on DA cause Viruses (AKA if you arn't subscribed)

(this is not from clicking on adds, this is from just browsing DA. Ad the ad loads onto the page with the image, it also loads a virus that makes my Anti virus program close the page)

I agree with you on the ads, they get annoying, now they have audio, as if they aren't annoying enough?. My firefox has literally frozen due to those damned things. I think it's DA's secret way of saying "subscribe or die" due to every time I look at my page, on the activity it says "needs premium membership" (it's a conspiracy man... XD always loved that phrase). For what, I'm content with my free account. Geez it's like Gaia online "if you want this you're going to have to pay real world dolla for it".
But to shield my comp through all the BS the DA ads have to throw at me, I have Avast! Free Anti-virus. It's a damn good application too, while I was on DA it warned me of a Trojan and blocked it without any further action needed to be done by me. I've recently scanned my comp and she's still virus free.
as for the virus issue, I've got ABP on so it block most pointless ads
Good thing some add-ons like Ad-Blocker Plus (ABP) lessens the headaches (and makes loading a page faster

I find really rude by people who is offrering that kinds without any researching about artist. They are like, finds your dApage, omgcoolart and lots of attention- hit the note and offer. FAQ is a basic to read before asking/offering.
