Faqs

or
I have a list for you to check on the status of your commission.

:dollarus: How do you accept payment?
By paypal mostly, I tried other methods, but got ripped off in the past. So those are a no go.
I would also prefer to be paid first. I have been ripped off too much.

:? What won’t you draw?
I don’t like drawing fanart from popular series like Naruto, KH, FFVII, etc. Basically if it is commonly seen on the front page, I don’t want to draw it.
I also would not like to draw porn, yuri, or yaoi. Romance is fine, but making out/vulgarity is not something I am into.
If you must absolutely need me to draw such things, I charge double price for the anxiety it causes me.

:hump: Trades?
Depends… check my list
I like to keep my list short, so I keep these to a max of 5 at a time, and I usually fill them up really quickly.
If you really REALLY much have a trade with me, then I have some guidelines.

• I put full effort into the trade, and expect you to do the same, If it looks like you didn’t spend much time on it at all, then I won’t feel obliged to do as good on my half. It is only fair.

• Due to many people ripping me off in the past, I’ll expect you to do your half first.

• I would prefer you to at least look at my style and what I draw before you ask for a trade, same as commissions, I wont draw vulgarity, or fanarts.

:ohmygod: May I use your characters/concepts for my story/game/site/rpg?
NO, I would not like you to use my art anywhere but where I intend it. I am soo tired of people asking!
If you really want good art, please commission the artist, they need the support.

 Will you draw for free/do free commissions/draw gifts?
Bluntly, if you have to ask, NO!
I draw things for my friends, school, and people who are paying me, either in art or money. Not for random people who pop by.

:pissedoff:We have a company that will make money. Will you draw for us now, and we pay you later?
Sorry NO, I don’t have the time to invest in such a gamble. I am in college and need to either work on homework, or work to pay my tuition.

:meditation: What is XM?
XM, aka Xiro Myth is a personal comic project I have been working on for years. I have had some help from my good friends, specially Lunwlf, Shinerai, and Zomby138.

:movingon:Do you have XM posted somewhere I can read it?
I have a few pages posted, but I feel that it would prolly be better for me to get a separate site to post it since DA is really messy.

:please: Can I make an avian character?
No, please, I don’t want people other then my friends making avian characters. It is the main reason I made subspecies avians, For people to make characters of them instead.
Look here!

:mwahaha:What do you use to colour?
I only have photoshop, thus that is what I use to colour digitally. For traditional arts, I use markers, coloured pencils, jellpens, and gouache.

:rage: Why don’t you respond to my comments?
I don’t have time to respond to every comment, I have school work and other art stuffs I need to get done that take up the time which commenting would.
I will usually respond to your comment if it is asking an intelligent question.

 Can I colour your linearts?
Its why I post them.
My only request is that you give me credit and show me.

DO NOT USE MY CHARACTERS, CREATURES OR IMAGES FOR YOUR OWN RP/STORY/COMIC

I was wondering how you made the story script (the one on top of the Artist's comments that tells the story of the scene) smaller than the rest of the words
I cant figure out how you made the text small like that. The scripts I have tried doent seem to work with the same effect, ot not at all. Any help would be appreciated

Since the FAQ doesn't cover this question clearly, if I were to make a Flytt, should I note you about it and, if yes, should I do this before or when the finished product is uploaded?

Hey Kilara!
I've been browsing through your OC Folder, and I think the names you've given your characters, species and creatures are really awesome! Im just wondering if the names you've given some of your OCs/species/creatures like "Avian" have a special meaning in another language(since I noticed the name of Aeroh = Aero = Wind) or are they just something you've made up yourself? O.O But still they are awesome! >w< Awesome gallery by the way!! :D

(and sorry if this is the 2nd post here from me(asking the same question).. I accidently closed the window while the comment was sending and I didnt know if it was sent or not ^^; sorry)

Hello, I was wondering about the avian species regarding copyright and how you've gone about this?
(Part of me thinks this sounds threatening, it is not meant to. It's just I am in uni and will eventually go into the animation industary - I am interested in how you've gone about protecting your creations and avoiding certain aspects of 'general draconian appearance' because I know when i envision a dragon they adopt aspects of avians long before I knew they existed.)

I can answer that. My father is a song writer and has taught me how. You can find the form online. You need to fill out a form regarding copyrighting that particular character and/or species. There is a fine and you'll need to keep it up to date. Print off the form, follow the instructions, and send it in. It's quite easy.

I never saw you put anywhere in your FAQs that you don't want us featuring your art in say, an amv perhaps about artists on DeviantArt, credit given to the artists and perhaps links to their pages. Would you mind if we promoted your art, as long as we give credit?

i read your FAQ and though i can't draw dragons or any type of animal worth looking at, i'd still like to ask and know if i'd be allowed to draw a human maybe based off one of your characters? (though i'd prefer if i could mix with fantasy elements/elven traits ^^;)

not necessarily an Avian since they are rightfully your private characters, and i respect that, but maybe the sub-species?

mostly for the color and clothing ideas generated from how they look. I would give you credit and link back to your DA page and note you if i decided to. (that's assuming you gave permission of course)

i know some of my friends watch you :)

people, stop asking her to be her friend.
while it's a kind gesture, it sounds too much like you want to make an avian to me.
probably to kilara as well.
please do not act so retarded :/

and kilara, I have a sort of question...
the head shape. of avians, reminds me strongly of [link] ...while, the avians themselves have a more broad face. but the basic slope of the head, and the drop down from the nose reminds me of godzilla lol, no offense at all.
just saying, it's really possible to accuse someone of copying the style of your avians even if they reffed from somewhere else.. in that case it would be there fault for copying o.O in general
