How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Msn is ok for me

First of all I wanna thank everyone who gave me suggestions, it was really nice to see soo many people who wanted to help. It was kinda annoying when people told me to try the most simple of things that I would have already tried before I asked online. But I do realize that you were just trying to help.
For future reference if I am asking for tech help, I more then likely have tried the most obvious options first before asking.

The thing that really got to be tho is how many people came out of the woodwork to tell me to get vista. I really didn't appreciate that.
I do not have money to buy it, I don't like the idea of vista, and XP has worked fine for me for years. So I don't want to get into debates about which is better because I really don't care, I have what i have and I'm not changing!

I did manage to find out somewhat what was wrong with my msn, it has to either be my router or the modem at home. I found this out because my mom's comp has the exact same problem, and well now that I am at college with a totally different Internet (wireless) my msn has been working. So I am pretty sure its one of the two (router or modem) that has a firewall or something blocking some signal msn needs to start.

So basically I now need to fix that for my mom so she can chat with me and not feel as lonely.

Going back

I have moved back to college which is ok, and I am getting in the hyper about it and all, I start classes tomorrow and I guess that means I won't be online much, but at least I'll be sketching a lot again. ^^
I am really looking forward to hanging with `sambees again and hanging with ~DemonicSerpent101 today. Plus rooming with ~Mother-of-Kitties's little brother, and seeing her again as her family brings him up.

Hopefully this year will be considerably less stressful then last year. XD

That's really dumb - saying that you should go from XP to Vista - especially seeing as MSN isn't fully compatable with Vista (I had such fun trying to install MSN on the new Vista running computer).

Put the setting on your router back to default with the reset switch....holding it in for 30 sec should do the trick....that might help if it is a router issue

If it's a firewall issue, you need to open ports 1863 and 443 for msn, and ports 5190 and 1024-65535 for ICQ. More details can be found here: [link] The firewall is on your router. If the modem is the problem, you'll probably have to replace it.

Do you know which brand of router you have? If so you could probably find a manual online that'd explain how to forward or unblock ports.

MSN uses port 1863, so you can check that with the software firewall (if you have one)

If that doesn't fix it, you can try forwarding it to one of the computers... This will keep the other comp from being able to access it, but that'll pretty much confirm, or deny whether it's the router.
