I really don't know how he took that as calmly as he did, but I guess he put all of his focus into his new little brother.

I guess that his return to the front lines was to get away from the rip in his heart. But when we all were told he had fallen in battle we all held the morning ceremony, and his younger brother had charged into war, against his father's wishes. And a few days later Ex returned, really roughed up around the edges, and angry.
He went up to his father and they yelled for a while, I personally guess that Ex had finally snapped and wanted to give him a piece of his mind.

Now he is charged with treason and conspiracy for the throne.
With no hope of getting out of there.

I personally see Exiel as quite a friendly type of guy, the one who will crack silly jokes and muss your hair. The kind of guy you could go to the bar with get plastered, have a great time, and not worry about being safe or how you are getting home. He'd have no problems telling that hot girl you just met your embarassing stories and yet still get it so that you score. I see him that if he was real and corporeal he'd totally be my best friend. XD
