The mountains were his home, his sanctuary, the place where no one else could venture without him knowing about.
He guarded his territory vigilantly, letting no other dragons within it's borders, except for one....
He landed on the top of a pine, and waited for her to come to him.

A very much long over due commission for,

The main reason that it took so long to complete was me and my having issues with the composition... for my vision was to have him landing on the top of a pine tree weighing it down. And for some reason I was having the most difficult time with getting it down to where I wanted it to be, while keeping it looking like he is moving.

I want to thank *CentraDragon her her awesome help with the composition and suggesting to put the fore wing down.
And =Foxchibi for her awesome cloud brush that I am slowly learning to use.
