On Old hallow's eve Jenny and her little brother Billy went out for the festivities as most children their age. Jenny dressed up as a witch, while her brother chose his usual, the ghost, a bedsheet draped halfhazardly over his head.
Things went as usual, house by house their pillow cases got heavier, and the smiles on their faces grew.

One house in particular was said to be haunted, but Jenny was determined to visit every home on their street regardless of whether they were haunted or not.
As they approached the house, they noticed a lone jack-o-lantern sitting on the grass....
