Wow, this is gorgeous. I love the sense of flight and movement. The water was done really well. It looks wonderful. One can see the ripples in it, and the way you warped the reflection to fit with the ripples is spectacular. The way teh background sort of fades is a neat effect, as well. It makes one feel that if they were to simply stare at the picture for a while, the background would fade away, leaving the avian and his reflection. The sun positioned behind his wing the way it is is also a wonderful touch.

I know you asked for comments over faves, but this is etting a fave from me anyway.

I love how all of the colors juts flow together, and are bright and light-hearted. As well as how the line-art is so minimal as to where it doesnt hinder the image at all, its a very well done and seemless integration! You did the water really well to boot.

This really is one beautiful pic. I think one of my favorite things about it is just how the simplcity and the light colors of the background really make it a peaceful, yet animated piece.

For some reason my mind said Albatross, but I dun think I'm right. But BOY is this guy gorgeous! The markings are clear and stunning against the creamy-orange (what color is that btw?) color, and that reflection is fantastic

I love th contrast between the detail and bright colours in the Avian and the simplicity and paler tones in the background. There's so much life and motion in this image.

And for some reason I'm thinking blue-ringed octopus for the creature the Avian is based off, but that may just be me. o.o
