She awoke in whiteness, a blank spaceless void. A voice comming from below calmed her nerves.
"Welcome to the realm of mirrors, a place where everything in known, there are no secrets here..."
She looked down towards the voice as her eyes adjusted to the light. Below her stood an angel dressed in black, a man who showed no emotion. She found herself sitting perched atop a long set of spiraling stairs, the walls all accented with mirrors... all blank.
He spoke again.
"I have brought you here to remove the myth from you, to show you your true purpose, the reason you were created..."

A project I had to do for life drawing class... we were sposed to draw a self portrait, but in an abstract kind of way... like for example we could draw the contents of our bags, to show what we are like.
I chose to draw a representitive of me from my comic, in a more meaningful way.
The assignment was also to draw two of these related somehow... so the next one will be done soon...

I like how you laid out the scene, and how you're kind of looking down the spiral to where the man with wings stands. Very nice ^^

Oh!! Brilliant! I love it! The wings and feathers are beautiful. I love the whole concept of the picture. Amazing!

I like the soft coloring used for the skin, very 'graceful' and adding to the semi-mysteriousness of the art. I enjoy the concept as well, can't wait to see the other part of the project. :P

Ha ha ha, yay for self protrait art projects! I believe you did a very good job with this, much better than a drawing of random bag objects. I tell ya, art teachers can certainly think up some WIERD assignments in attempt to get students to be creative. Lol I'll never forget the project where I had to draw my shoe up side down, with out looking at the paper or lifting the pen off of the paper.... yeah I dont think I got exactly why we had to do that..... all the projects ended up looking craptastic. * shruggs* Anyways great job and I love the concept! Keep up the good work :D
