Out of the pods the emerge, to swarm the foe into submission.

I wouldn't know how many times I have tried to revamp these guys... I think I am finally happy with them.

These are sposed to be the soldier type drones that pester Kilara and Hiro during the first parts of XM... they are swift and merciless, and don't dissobey orders.
Their original purpose was to be a counter force to the millions of amsk residing in the marshlands.
They are born off of the pods that hang off of the Yggreassle tree [link]

Oh i like the plasma gun

But the head gear reminds me of the Amsk O.o The retractable elbow chains look similar to Ty's three phase weapon...

i'd magine something sleeker, more inclined to nature, but hey, it's your concept

btw, how do you pronounce that 'yggreassle'? i know yddgrasil, odin's horse/ some root, but how to pronounce that?

this is them with armor on, they are born w/o the metal bits. and Thanks I totally forgot how to properly spell that... it is actually sposed to mean the tree of life and knowledge, something to do with odin giving his left eye for knowledge... Odins horse was called Sleipnir or something simular. and had 8 legs.

Hmmm...

A pretty cool revamp, but I'm not sure if I like it better than the other one... Maybe a mix of the two would be better? o.o

I dunno, there just seems to be something bothering me, but I can't put a finer on it... =/

Bah, it's not that important anyway. It's still a cool final design, though I liked the breathing thingies and armor plates on the last one.
