Another avian, this time based off of a peacock.
Brightly coloured and everything....
Still more to go...
and I am still open for suggestions on animals that have interesting colour patterns.

Wow this is so beautiful. I love your shading technique :heart: I don't mean to be nosy but how do you scan in your drawings so perfectly and remove the texture of paper from the background without losing that shadow?

If you use photoshop, you can make a new layer at 10% opacity, with a light tan fill, set to "colour dodge", and it usually gets rid of unwanted paper grain.

There are other techniques as well, but I find that the most generally useful for any pics (specially lineart)
