A wisp or darkness

Wouldn't a regular wisp be a floating orb of a soul? Maybe this would be a classification of a wisp whose soul belonged to a wicked person... and the mask conceals their identity possibly out of shame. Regular wisp, they're shameless, they know they've been good. XD
